Brief Introduction:
Computer simulation of building energy performance play a very inportant role in LEED certificatin process, especially to these complex office buildings. For this reason, LEED project managers,or LEED APs, are necessary to understand some basic  knowleges about what factors can affect the whole building annual energy performance. To a proffessional energy modeler, it is more inportant to know the following questions: What can modelers do to maximize the accuracy and reliability of their models? What can program managers do to ensure quality in the modeling phase of their programs? What other program activities are needed to increase the benefit of the modeling?This curriculum wants to answer the above mentioned questions.In addition, this curriculum will tell the trainee how to prepare a proffesional energy modeling report, how to do techno-economic analysis for a special technology, how to write a LCC report.

HVAC engineers, LEED project managers, LEED AP’s continuing education.
